The rise of technology is contributing to an increasingly lasting footprint from Fashion Week. We are seeing the rise of live-stream fashion shows and instant shopping from established brands to contemporary designers. Adding to the emergence of multimedia is a new collaboration by All Day Everyday and MAC&MILK called, Phone Tag | Fashion Week Live. It is an interactive, curated website driven by the mobile snaps of designers, editors, attendees, and anyone who find themselves at Milk Studios. Updating mobile photos in real-time, the photo blog “seeks to tell the story of New York Fashion Week through the eyes of the MAC&MILK community and you.”
Indeed there are some intimate, behind-the-scene photos, including close-up shots of Chris Benz’s show, a pair of Vans illustrated by Timothy Hull, a street style interview, the runway, and backstage at Calvin Klein.
